Lost Fan 7-48

Pretty much stayed in this day to get better.  Only awesome thing I did was go to Music Japan's live recording, which including the following artist:

- AKB (Ue kara Mariko's janken members)
- no3b
- GACKT
- Perfume
- Milk Bunny
- Rainbow
- Fairies
- D☆DATE
- Chiaki Kuriyama
- ...and more (i.e. I forgot at this point)

Seating was on the 3rd floor but view was still pretty good as I could see everything and the hall is smaller than it looks on TV.  Definitely AKB and D☆DATE had the most yelling from the audience (idol wotas) which was both good and bad.  Good to show your love for them but bad cause people were screaming THE WHOLE FRICKIN' TIME they were on (i.e. MCs and performance).  Seriously, WTF.

Thankfully the other performances and the kick arse DJ/MC they had balanced out the few bad apples there.

Better than Queen's Night, which I didn't think was possible!

... also sorry to all for jetting as soon as the live was over.  Would have loved to stay and chat with overseas Nana/AKB/whatever fans but didn't want to get anyone sick with the cold I got thanks to yesterday's antics.  Sounds like I missed a hell of a time too :(

Forgot to mention saw the K-ON! movie prior going to Nana's live.  Was exactly what you would expect from K-ON and honestly just felt like another long episode.  Not that it was bad or anything but nothing special IMHO.  I had more fun trying out the random "K-ON inspired" foods in Ikebukuro :)

I have to rely on twitter to jog my memory as apparently I can't remember back a week ago ^^;;

- Epic fail on my part on missing out meeting THE Emperor of Japan due to not being at the right place for a tour.
- Buying goods at B&M stores in Japan always net 10x better than just ordering online. Loving the Nana Mizuki CD/DVD container box and misc clear files I got.
- Gundam Cafe a lot more normal (and smaller) than I thought; storefront makes it seem pretty big. Dessert pizza and Haro latte weren't 1/2 bad. Men's bathroom is AWESOME!
- K-Books is evil (everything is some % off) but the other store I was taken too is even worse (better discounts, including stuff I already bought at K-Books). Could have saved an extra 2200yen on Nana BRs ;_;
- Both this Steak/pork place and Yukari's okonomiyaki in Akiba were good and mad cheap!
- Missed out at checking out AKB's cafe Theater section but minus meeting some foreign AKB fans, seems like I didn't miss too much food and live wise (Sasshi's bday LOD).
- Some day during my vacation in Japan, I will get over 4 hours of sleep!

Long day is long.  Random list of stuff that stuck out:

- Screen/audio on my flight over didn't work :(
- N'EX + Suica combo is nice as long as you're traveling into the main Tokyo area.
- Soy Sauce River in the train blocked by random nice dude and old man before it got crazy.
- Meeting up with people without cell is always an experience of luck and guts wwwww
- Avoid MAIDREAMIN' maid cafe at all cost.  150% rip off
- COS-CHA is a nice and proper cafe... slapping the customers included.
- Dear Stage was more crazy than I thought. Seiyuu and AKB wotas have nothing compared to their fans! Otherwise props for the uber pro of the staff/idols~
- Always pay for coin lockers by suica, ALWAYS.

Updated:
- Weird being on a train that is decorated with AKB images from top to bottom (new trading card series came out).
- Gundam Cafe and AKB Shop a lot bigger than I thought.
- Awesome seeing both Maon Kurosaki and Nana Mizuki's ad trucks within 10 mins of each other (Nana's is HUGE and folks were taking photos of it)!

... FYI less than 12 hours in Japan and I've already spent 12000yen orz
